Billie is especially close to my heart, as this pattern was inspired by my own much-loved African Grey who shared my home many years ago.  The original Billie can still be seen on Youtube!  Billie Barratt the chicken parrot!

📏 Finished Size

When made using 4-ply yarn, your finished African Grey Parrot measures approximately:

  • 9 inches (23 cm) from beak to tail

The finished size will vary depending on your yarn weight, hook size and crochet tension. For a larger Billie, simply use Double Knit (DK), Aran or Chunky yarn.
