When made using 4-ply yarn, your finished Rocky measures approximately:

  • 4½ inches (10 cm) high

The finished size will vary depending on your yarn weight, hook size and crochet tension.

For a larger Rocky, simply use Double Knit (DK), Aran or Chunky yarn with an appropriately sized crochet hook. Please note that using a different yarn weight will also alter the finished appearance.

You'll also need:

Scheepjes Catona mercerised cotton provides excellent stitch definition and beautifully highlights the African Flower motifs.

Equivalent 4-ply, fingering, sport or baby-weight yarns can also be used, so feel free to experiment with your favourite yarns and colour combinations.
